My trip began in Barcelona on March 29th, 2012. I arrived to a strike that left the city at a stand still. Cherry bombs exploding, dumpsters ablaze, street lamps melting, protestors fleeing the scene. That was my first day in Barcelona and so began my leap into the unknown.

Everyday I spend some time picking these beauties out of gardens around the city.

Jane Snuggling

Most of my wardrobe comes from clothing swaps, free bins, yard sales, and thrift stores for next to nothing. I wouldn't have it any other way...that said, spending my pretty pennies on fancy underpinnings really does make me one hell of a happy broke gal. The Jane Snuggling set, a hot coral lace mesh beauty by Stella McCartney that fits like a dream, is my most recent Lille splurge. I could never see myself spending that much cash on purses or shoes or any other material objects, but lingerie, oh, lingerie! These tiny bits of fabric that hug my skin are the loveliest of guilty pleasures.
