Olivier and Cyril hosted me at their garden near Normandy for a week and half. During the day we planted seeds and harvested vegetables, cut passes through meadows, and wandered the countryside. We cooked vegetarian feasts with simple ingredients and always drank a post-lunch coffee in the sun. Little by little my french developed. Alas, a dictionary was never far from reach.

Unforeseen Circumstances

I recently hooked up with pin-up lingerie and swimwear designer Tani Thompson to help her design & sew lingerie for the working gals of this fine city. Tonight we're headed out on the town with a rack full of little bikini sets to show off at some of the many strip clubs in Portland. We're up to our ears in glittery, glow in the dark fabrics, sparkly mesh polka dot prints, ruched butts, lace cut outs, bows, booty shorts, and g-strings galore. We're hoping to provide skivies for all the dancers in town, while building separate collections of our own lingerie and ready to wear designs for the mainstream market. I spend most of my free time in Tani's studio sewing on fancy industrial machines...more photos of our progress as soon as I remember to carry my camera to work!
