our new vintage store

Sarah-Ray and I have been working on getting a new vintage venture going, but choosing a name has been trippin' us up. Here's a look at the dresses and jumpsuit we plan to sell very soon!

Fabric bummer

Sure, I get it, colors can vary from screen to screen, but I'm so bummed by the discrepancy in the mesh fabric I ordered last week that I could cry. :(

My cutie roommate, Cintamani, just started a blog to archive vintage textile prints. Check it out at Cintamani Prints

Astral Bodies

Astral Bodies: Fortnight Lingerie Fashion Show presented by Lille Boutique from lilleboutique on Vimeo.

I was sad to miss the epic Astral Bodies event--the Fortnight Lingerie fashion show, Planned Parenthood fundraiser, and holiday party that Lille Boutique hosted last month. Sarah, Courtney, and Christina put a ton of work into making this the most amazing and sparkly event of 2012, and I am so glad someone captured the essence of the party on film!

last night's panties

Made this sheer navy high-waisted brief with rust mesh front panel and black ruffle trim last night. It's safe to say that I'm obsessed with sewing panties in 2013.
Georgie O'Keeffe inspired fabric shopping this evening :)

last night's panties

I would have been disappointed with myself if I didn't start 2013 with a creative project---so here's the pair of panties I made to ring in the new year. The color is sort of off in these photos, but imagine a lovely sheer rust mesh front with a fuchsia jersey ruched bum and burgundy fold-over elastic. I'm still playing with tension and stitch length to ensure that these babies look great and stretch well.
